NEWEST ABC BOARD MEMBER - CHRISTOPHER LOREN PALMER |
Chris Palmer, a Little Rock attorney (Dodds, Kidd & Ryan) and would be ladies man, was appointed by Gov. Asa Hutchinson to replace Martin Silverfield on the ABC Board. Palmer traded his spot on the Arkansas Sentencing Commission, to which he had been appointed back in August 2015.
Palmer's appointment comes just to time to help rubber stamp his buddy and fellow p-hound, Jeremy Hutchinson, in his effort to open a questionable private club just across the street from the Episcopal Collegiate School and their Chapel.
BIRDS OF A FEATHER FLOCK TOGETHER |
Palmer, who is often pictured in Soirée clutching an alcoholic beverage, will no doubt draw on his experience as a former deputy prosecuting attorney, foreclosure lawyer and fill-in Circuit Court Judge to review all the ABC permit applications before determining that they are all in the public interest and convenience.
However, in the matter of the 1836 Club, Palmer has shown a bias and should abstain from voting on its permit application when it comes before the ABC Board on February 17th.
Call or send an email to Chris and tell him to recuse from voting on the 1836 permit application and that posting his bias on facebook is a bonehead move.
