ARKANSAS TIMES SAYS REPUBLICAN SKULDUGGERY AT WORK

MAX BRANTLEY, EDITOR OF THE ARKANSAS TIMES

In a video posted on the Arkansas Times facebook page Max Brantley claims "Republican Skulduggery" is at work as Attorney General Leslie Rutledge in an opinion that she unusually authored herself, states the Arkansas State Police should not hand over their investigative file on ABC Enforcement Director Boyce Hamlet.  Rutledge claims that it is old news and she doesn't see any compelling public reason for its release.

Brantley states "they have a man that is heading a police agency who 15 years ago lied and got fired...this brings into question his credibility".

Brantley also stated "this brings into question his credibility in cases he handled when he was an investigator for another Republican, the Faulkner County Prosecuting Attorney...I think accountability says his records ought to be open. They raise more questions by sealing them than they would have by just releasing them'.
