According to a source with the Department of Finance and Administration, ABC Deputy Director Rick Crisman resigned his position shortly after this blog posted a story detailing allegations of misuse of office and other violations by Crisman.
The source also confirmed that Crisman was given the option to resign rather than being fired.
We understand that a complaint has been made to the Washington County Prosecuting Attorney in regard to the allegations of misuse of office pursuant to A.C.A. § 21-8-304 and Crisman being in possession of cancelled, revoked, suspended, fictitious, or fraudulently altered driver's license pursuant to A.C.A. § 27-16-302.
