Former state Sen. Gilbert Baker has pleaded innocent to driving while intoxicated and other charges.

There is also another video, which is quite lengthy, that shows a drunk, obnoxious and argumentative Baker. Let's hope that the judge that hears Baker's case views it. No doubt the length of the video is a result of the time it took to get a search warrant signed by a judge to take Baker to the hospital for blood to be drawn.

Baker entered the plea through attorney Frank Shaw in a document filed Tuesday in Faulkner County District Court. Baker, 59, also is charged with refusal to take a breath test and driving left of center. He had been scheduled to enter a plea Oct. 3.

Shaw had his own brush with the law back in 2013 when he was involved in a domestic disturbance.
A few months later someone vandalized Shaw's office. Hell hath no fury...
Apparently domestic issues were a reoccurring problem at the Shaw household as evidenced by this filing in October 2015:
Frank and Paige Shaw were divorced in February 2016.
And according to another court filing in August 2016, they are married again.
But Shaw was not wearing a wedding ring when photographed for an article that appeared in the Log Cabin Democrat in July 2016, just a month before the lawsuit concerning a leaky dishwasher was filed.
Shaw was also an unsuccessful candidate for the Arkansas House in 2014

Seems like a good sort of guy to represent a guilty individual.
Back to Baker...
Baker, who was arrested Aug. 26 in Conway, is free on $1,395 bond.
For years, Baker fought efforts to allow Conway restaurants to sell
alcoholic beverages. Faulkner County is dry, but many restaurants now
are treated as private clubs and allowed to sell alcohol.
In a police report, Conway officers described Baker as "verbally
belligerent and emotional" after they arrested him.
Baker initially told officers he had not had anything to drink. Later he told the Arkansas Democrat Gazette that he only had one or two margaritas at a Little Rock restaurant.
