HAMLET CREATES HOSTILE WORK ENVIRONMENT FOR EMPLOYEES

HAMLET SAYS HE WILL SEND "SHIT-O-GRAM'S" IF NECESSARY (see email in story)

Emails that the ABC did not want us to obtain indicate that ABC Enforcement director Boyce Hamlet has created a hostile work environment for employees under his supervision.  Hamlet has berated, belittled and used unprofessional language that any reasonable person would consider intimidating, hostile and abusive.

The ABC was sent a Freedom of Information request on June 3, 2015 for emails of Hamlet.  They have yet to fully comply and provide all the emails requested. However, the ones they have provided so far provide quite a picture of a dysfunctional government agency.

In one email Hamlet remarks to Bud Roberts, director of Alcoholic Beverage Control Administration that once of his employees, Seletia Powell, "rambles" in an email that complains of political favortism in the ABC administration.

In another email Hamlet makes disparaging and unsubstantiated comments about his administrative assistant Milinda Brown. He engages in unprofessional communication about one employee he supervises to another employee he supervises.

Hamlet called agent Bill Kruse and chewed him out about some reports.

J.C Ryder had a retort about Kruse's response to getting chewed out.

******

The Governor and the DFA Director need to get rid of Hamlet before this agency falls apart. Having someone like Hamlet with a questionable character, documented lack of integrity and honesty attempting to run a law enforcement agency is a recipe for failure.
